Rail Lazy H Unhandled Horse Auction Information
Owning a horse for recreation or pleasure can be a very rewarding and enriching experience for many people. While we are excited that you have come to our online auction to make a decision about bidding on an unhandled horse, we would also like to provide you with some information about the horses you may choose to bid on.
Where do these horses come from: Click here to learn more.
Unhandled horses in our auction are also called feral horses. Feral from the Merriam Webster Dictionary: living outside without taming or domestication.
The unhandled horses in this auction are gathered from the landscape, transported with an appropriate trailer, sorted by gender, and sorted by health.
Holding is where the horses transition into domestication begins by adapting to barriers (appropriate fence), artificial feed, and an artificial water source.
Auction pictures are taken without the aid of filters or zoom lenses, and we do not use photo editor.
We do not provide any domestic hands-on training in holding of these unhandled horses.
You as a potential bidder/ winning bidder are the unhandled horse's next
transition step into domestication. Our suggestion for your safety and your
new horse(s) safety is to provide further domestication training so that
your new horse can be examined by a licensed veterinarian and provided with
initial vet care such as deworming, vaccinations, dental examinations, and
gelding of stallions. This basic domestic training will also aid you to
safely help your horse in the event of an emergency whether it be a medical
emergency or environmental emergency.
Information to consider if your bidder account was not activated for an auction of the unauthorized unhandled horses from the A-S National Forest in Arizona.
Please note that if your account was not activated for any of our recent auctions, you received an email with the following information:
Good afternoon,
If you have registered as a potential bidder for our
current auction and your account has not been activated, this may be due to
one or more of the reasons listed below:
- When you attempted to register as a potential bidder, your email or credit card information could not be verified and therefore an account was never created in our system to review for activation.
- You provided only a bidder questionnaire and no current corral/ fence pictures.
- You registered and did not provide a questionnaire and/ or photos of your corrals or fence.
- Information on your bidder questionnaire was inconsistent, lacked detail, or is related to another questionnaire with similar inconsistent information for this auction or past auctions that leaves the question of the actual physical destination of the horse(s) and the fence and/ or corral they will be housed in.
- Photographs you currently provided or provided for past auctions are questionable or inconsistent.
- You have an outstanding balance due for services provided post auction by Rail Lazy H.
If your past bidder account was deactivated due to any of the above, your
current potential bidder account will not be activated.
If you have
been a successful bidder in the past and won horse(s) and now you find that
your account is not active, please review the above information.
If
you have an outstanding balance due to Rail Lazy H, once that balance is
paid in full, we will review the account history and make a determination on
when or if the potential bidder account will be/ or allowed to participate
at future auctions.
We do apologize for this inconvenience, however,
please also understand that our registration process was designed with input
from the public for the safety, health, and welfare of the unhandled
horse(s) and to promote a successful outcome for the unhandled horse(s).
Again, we do apologize. We never anticipated having to address these
types of concerns.
If you have a question, please do not hesitate to
email Rail Lazy H and we will do our best to work out the issue with you.
Thank you.
